In 1971, Mark Robinson worked with Rex Fasig in the village of New Pittsburg, Chester Township. Mark learned from Rex the trades of plumbing, heating, air conditioning, water conditioning, water well service and electric. These areas included the aspects of service, replacement, remodeling and new construction, mainly in the residential market.

Upon Mr. Fasig’s retirement in 1976, Mark began working for many of Rex’s former customers. Having been raised in Wooster, Mark’s business soon encompassed the Wooster and Wayne County areas as well.

In the late 1980’s, Mark became licensed by the state of Ohio and broadened his base to include commercial and industrial plumbing, heating and cooling.

In 2009, The M.W. Robinson Company acquired the former Webb Atlas Heating and Cooling Company of Wooster and in 2011, they acquired the former Lehr Plumbing and Heating Company.

Today, MW Robinson Co is still running strong and still family-owned and operated by Mark Robinson since 1976. Over 25 years later his son Chris Robinson joined the team along with Frank Gengo to make the “Go-To Guys” that our customers are familiar with today.

We love being a part of the Wooster community. In January, 2020, MW Robinson Co. was awarded 2019 Small Business of the Year by Wooster Chamber of Commerce. We were very honored to receive this award because of what the Wooster community and surrounding areas has meant to our business and family for close to half a century.
